Portland Fashion Institute x Portland Frocktails Fabric Swap 2025
Portland Fashion Institute and Portland/Cascadia Frocktails teamed up for a sewcial fabric swap! Attendees dropped off hundreds and hundreds of pounds of fabric the day before, then lined up to get new-to-them fabric for the new year! This was a great opportunity for the community to get to know the Portland Fashion Supply Store.

Sew Many Bikes 2022 Pedalpalooza Ride!
Portland area sewists met for Sew Many Bikes, our very own me-made-wardrobe themed Pedalpalooza ride. Wearing our favorite makes to tour NE and SE Portland by bike on July 2nd from 2 to 5 pm. We met at Bolt Neighborhood Fabric store on NE 422nd Ave. at 2:00 and started the ride at 2:30. This was a slow, no-drop ride through low traffic streets and a few bike lanes. The ride included five stops and concluded at Josephine’s Dry Goods on SE Clinton Ave. around 5ish, with an optional happy hour and mixer with wine from Bar Norman next door.
